Coach David Fleck and Program Coordinator Steven Andrade have been coaching Special Olympics athletes at Sailfish Sands since early September.
On October 22nd, four of our athletes competed in a skills competition at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Special thanks to Special Olympics for renting a van and a big SHOUT OUT to our athletes and Coaches! They woke up early to be at a 8 AM registration that was 2 hours away!
All our athletes medaled in their divisions! Caroline Shea and Christopher McBride placed 3rd in their divisions. Andrew Campbell and Christopher LaGratta placed 1st. We are also very excited to announce that Christopher LaGratta has qualified for the state level competition in December at Walt Disney World. Let’s go!
