Sponsor Spotlight: Steady Returns

Steady Returns specializes in managing money for retirees and high net worth investors. They use long-term demographic trends, relative currency valuation, and asset class diversification to guide their investment strategy in managing portfolios their clients can depend on.

They look for significant, long-term trends to guide their investment allocations. For example, the aging of the population in the U.S. They believe this one factor will profoundly impact inflation/deflation, the size of the workforce, consumer spending, and the growth of the healthcare sector.

At Steady Returns, clients:

  1. Can talk with their advisor as much as needed.
  2. Are not going to do any paperwork.
  3. Have online access to a comprehensive view of their investments.
  4. Receive frequent communications from the team about pertinent financial topics.

Participant Highlight: Julian Delvalle

Martin County Police Athletic League (PAL) student Julian DelValle is the most determined student imaginable. He always arrives at class excited and ready to play. He continues to practice outside the class at our Sailfish Sands program. He is a dedicated student-athlete, who aspires to continue improving his golf skills. He is a great role model for the other students in his class.

Special Guest Visits Sailfish Sands

Chapter Director Kevin Seits visited a class at Sailfish Sands. He said about the day that, “The staff and kids were doing a great job and having a great deal of fun.”

Fun With Boys & Girls Clubs

Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County, Ken Pruitt, went on a field trip to Jensen Beach Golf Club. The students had a blast!

The students spent 5 weeks with Coach Gabbie, LPGA, at the Ken Pruitt club learning the fundamentals of golf. After learning with SNAG equipment, the group transitioned to using real clubs and balls. One student asked Coach Gabbie at the end of the day if “they could come back every day.” Coach Gabbie is very proud of these students for their achievements and their willingness to try new things.

The AWS First Tee Volunteer Program will continue to connect employees to their local Chapter to become a First Tee volunteer through a variety of internal programs.

ACE – Game-Planning For The Future

Join our Ace Program!  Ace is an additional capstone program built for teens to help them game-plan what’s next. It integrates the skills and inner strengths they’ve developed at First Tee and points them toward exploring, investing in, and building a clear plan and assets for their next step. In 2024, there will be 7-10 “ACE Days” that will take place during a day off of school where students will gather to complete projects and play golf. This is a program that is a benefit to your eligible students and is in addition to your already existing First Tee program. Students must be 16 years old and an active participant in our program for at least 3 years. Please visit our registration website.

Alumnae Attend MMI Summit

Savannah Mansueti and Nyla Sims, distinguished alumnae of our chapter, recently embarked on a transformative journey through the Leadership Pathway program at the 2024 MMI Summit in Miami, FL.

Selected as representatives of the National First Tee Alumni Program, they ventured into an experience that not only enriched their leadership skills but also expanded their professional networks.  Networking proved to be instrumental throughout the program.

When asked about recommending this opportunity to other First Tee alumni, Mansueti and Sims wholeheartedly endorsed it. “The summit offered us invaluable resources, presentations, and networking opportunities,” said Mansueti.  “This program will significantly benefit us during these early stages of our careers, particularly in the finance realm.”

Both Savannah and Nyla are full-time employees of our Chapter. Savannah is the Manager of Operations and Nyla is our Program Coordinator.
