We continue our partnership with Special Olympics and started a four-week golf program at Topgolf Pompano.
12 Special Olympics athletes attended the program taught by Chapter coaches Robert Ferzoco and Greg Mingo.
Two more Special Olympics programs have been approved and scheduled for September and December.
Special thank you to Andrea Augustine and the Topgolf Team for donating the hitting bays and welcoming our athletes.
Chapter student Hudson McDuff started playing golf a little over a year ago. He joined our program at AllGolf at C.B. Smith Park. Ever since Hudson has been bitten by the golf bug! He practices all the time, created a self-made practice facility at home, and maintains his own Instagram handle that showcases his progress (@hudsongoesgolfing).
Hudson has exceeded expectations by selflessly volunteering his time every Sunday at AllGolf. He is a prime example of what can happen when goals are set and plans are executed. Keep up the great work!

Join our Ace Program! Ace is an additional capstone program built for teens to help them game-plan what’s next. It integrates the skills and inner strengths they’ve developed at First Tee and points them toward exploring, investing in, and building a clear plan and assets for their next step. In 2024, there will be 7-10 “ACE Days” that will take place during a day off of school where students will gather to complete projects and play golf. This is a program that is a benefit to your eligible students and is in addition to your already existing First Tee program. Students must be 16 years old and an active participant in our program for at least 3 years. Please visit our registration website.
