Our special partnership with Gold Coast Down Syndrome continues to grow. What started as a small class to introduce their students to golf, has grown into two amazing programs. We now host programs for the GCDS adults, teens, and tweens twice a week. Wednesdays the adults meet at the GCDS Center and Thursdays the teens and tweens meet at Drive Shack.

Sponsor Spotlight: Harbour Ridge
Harbour Ridge is a huge participant in our 100-Hole Challenge each and last year raised over $17,000 to support our children and veterans.
Harbour Ridge is named from the bluffs that created the harbor and the ridge made by the high bluffs along their River Ridge golf course. This is a fitting name for a club whose defining characteristics include its symbiosis with nature. The Club’s emblem, the eagle, was selected for its beauty and majesty and as a symbol of the Club’s commitment to protecting Florida’s natural resources. Eagles still soar around and make their home in the area.
US Disabled Open Golf Championship

Program Partner Spotlight: ARC of SLC
ARC of St. Lucie County is pictured above with Coach Gabbie Budd, LPGA at our Westside Campus golf learning facility. This group comes every week with big smiles on their faces and always ready to go! They have made such great improvements over the last few weeks, and Coach Gabbie looks forward to seeing them. They brighten her day as much as she brightens their day.
From Playground To The Course
Utilizing a playground area, Coach Ben Miller, PGA was able to introduce nearly twenty local children to the game of golf from the Martin County Parks & Rec J.A.S.E program. For five consecutive weeks, a SNAG driving range was built directly in the middle of the park. With Velcro targets and hula hoops, the kids were introduced to basic golf swing fundamentals. More importantly, the participants were encouraged to demonstrate our core values throughout the programming. A huge shout out should go to Ms. Leticia Farias for engaging with consistent communication and organization which ensured that these children’s time with our outreach programming was maximized.
Learning Golf With Big Brothers Big Sisters
We have partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters to bring their kids and mentors the game of golf. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a 501 non-profit organization whose mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. This organization works with kids ranging in ages, by partnering up a little with an older volunteer. This group had such a blast at Sailfish Sands! They did an amazing job demonstrating our core values, along with learning golf.
