Martin County Parks and Recreation programs are off to an exciting start this summer! We have worked with campers from the J.A.S.E., G.A.A.P., and R.E.A.C.H. locations. This is an incredible experience as we are introducing golf to see many kids.
These campers are lucky because their classes are held at the hitting bays at Sailfish Sands. With approximately 50–75 campers joining us each session, the golf course is filled with energy, laughter, and excitement.
We had one student enthusiastically ask to become a professional golfer when they grow up. Another camper asked if they could stay overnight at the golf course to play again the next day!
