Rosie Pro-Am Enjoys Incredible Success

Floridian National recently hosted the inaugural Rosie Pro-Am.  The event benefitted The “Rosie” Scholarship Fund and ultimately the students of First Tee – Florida Gold Coast. The event netted over $170,000 in its inaugural year and will fund an endowed Evans Caddie Scholarship and impact the lives of many of our students through The “Rosie” Scholarship.

The winning net team of Justin Wood, Kelly Kennerly, Kelly Hagar, and Steve Hagar posted a score of 58 (pictured above left).

The winning gross team of Trevor Dodds, Andrew Hunt, Anthony Coletta, and Carl Mistretta posted a score of 63 (pictured above right with Evans Caddie Scholar and Rosie Scholarship winner Jacie Goodman).

ACE – Game-Planning For The Future

Join our Ace Program!  Ace is an additional capstone program built for teens to help them game-plan what’s next. It integrates the skills and inner strengths they’ve developed at First Tee and points them toward exploring, investing in, and building a clear plan and assets for their next step. In 2024, there will be 7-10 “ACE Days” that will take place during a day off of school where students will gather to complete projects and play golf. This is a program that is a benefit to your eligible students and is in addition to your already existing First Tee program. Students must be 16 years old and an active participant in our program for at least 3 years. Please visit our registration website.

Partnership With Special Olympics

We are continuing our golf programs with Special Olympics at Topgolf Pompano. Special Olympics athletes and families enjoy the program taught by coaches Robert Ferzoco and Greg Mingo.

Two more 4-week Special Olympics programs have been approved and scheduled for the fall at Topgolf Pompano.

Special thanks to the Topgolf Team for donating the hitting bays and welcoming our families and athletes.
